Irrfan Khan Wins Posthumous Filmfare Award; 'Thappad' Bags Seven Wins Across All Categories

Last night, the 66th edition of Filmfare Awards 2021 took place and various Bollywood artists were celebrated for their extraordinary work. While most films and celebrities were able to get one or two awards, Taapsee Pannu’s film Thappad won seven awards.Yes, the film won the most awards at the Filmfare Awards 2021. The film won the following awards - Best Actor In A Lead Role (Female), Best Playback Singer (Male) - Raghav Chaitanya 'Ek Tukda Dhoop' Best Story -Anubhav Sushila Sinha and Mrunmayee Lagoo Waikul , Best Sound Design -Kaamod Kharade, Best Editing - Yasha Pushpa Ramchandani and Best Background Score - Mangesh Urmila Dhakde.Taapsee took to social media to express her gratitude for the same. The film was directed by Anubhav Sinha and Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati played the lead roles in the film. The whole Bollywood industry struggled and went through a tough time after the lockdown was announced.
