Farmers Disrupt Shooting of Janhvi Kapoor's Movie in Patiala For The Second Time

Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor is facing immense difficulty in shooting her film Good Luck Jerry in various parts of Punjab.

It has been reported that the shooting of Good Luck Jerry has been disrupted for the second time in Patiala time by a group of farmers who demanded the actress to make a statement showcasing her solidarity to their protest against the three agrarian reform laws.

The shooting was disrupted for a brief period, said a police official but the demands of these farmer protestors were clear.

We had earlier told them that they would not allow shooting of the film here. But they still held a shooting. We stopped it again today. We have no grudge against any person. If she (actor) gives a statement in support of farmers only once, we will allow the shooting,” the protester said.

Earlier this month, the shooting of Good Luck Jerry had briefly come to a halt at Bassi Pathana in Fatehgarh Sahib after a group of farmers had insisted that Janhvi make a comment on the ongoing farmers’ protest.

Curbing into the pressure, Janhvi Kapoor commented on the farmer’s protest by issuing a statement that read, “Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognize and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers.”

January Favorites: Lifestyle.

january favorites

Here’s a peek at everything I loved in January 2021! xo

Peanut butter overnight oats. This is so on repeat for me this month. I love this and make three days worth at a time. It’s probably my favorite breakfast!

Terra Chips Heritage Blend. I am not a huge chip lover but oh my gossssh these are so good. Salty, crunchy and have so much flavor. We all love them!

My warm brussels crunch salad. I can’t stop making this. We’ve been eating it all of January and I am obsessed with it for lunch.

My passion planner!! It never fails that when January comes, I’m reminded how much I LOVE this planner. I use the academic year so don’t have a new one in January, but I’m always reinvigorated by my planner come the new year.

Stabilo Pastel Highlighters. I’ve mentioned these before too but they are my favorite highlighters to use in my planner! I also love how short and fat they are – they fit so well in your hands.

Breville Automatic Tea Maker. And it’s mind blowing! This is a splurge but I have used it every single day (multiple times a day) for over a month and a half. It’s made for loose leaf tea, but I also use it as an electric kettle a few times a day too. I wouldn’t say I’m a strict tea drinker yet but since I haven’t really been drinking coffee, this is the next best thing. Now tell me, what is your favorite loose leaf tea?!

Origins Ginger Hand Soap and Lotion. If you’ve been following along for awhile you may recognize this as one of my favorite nostalgic scents. It reminds me of the week Max was born, so I love having it somewhere in the house. This is the soap I threw in our bathroom after the holiday one finished and it smells so wonderful!

Merece Laminator. Definitely asked for a laminator for Christmas. All I wanted to do was laminate my kids’ art work! Max draws so much everyday and in order to preserve some of the keepers, this was needed!

Nordstrom Moonlight Layering Ts. I’ve mentioned these a million times but they are the BEST layering tees. They are so soft, stretchy and fitted. They are slightly sheer so you can’t really wear them alone, but I adore them under everything.

Barefoot Dreams In The Wild robe. My mom got me this for Christmas and I adore it. I don’t actually use it as a robe, but more of a cardigan that I keep on the first level of the house because it’s freezing right now. I wear it everyday!

Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous double album. Love love love Morgan Wallen and this doesn’t disappoint. So excited it’s a double album! I’ve already added songs to the list for my 2021 summer country playlist.

Josh Groban’s Harmony album. My mom told me about this album and I love it. I adore Josh Groban and his is one of the last concerts we attended before 2020. This is so good! My kids are loving it too.

The Wife Upstairs. I read a ton in January (lots of good ones too!) but I think this was the one I couldn’t put down the most. If that makes sense. It’s a thrilled and while maybe a little predictable, really good and I just couldn’t wait to see what happened!

The Floor is Lava Game. The kids got this for Christmas and are equally in love with it. It’s really fun to play, especially if your kids are into the whole hot lava thing.

Color Me Fun Big Coloring Pages. Max is OBSESSED with these. He got one for his birthday and then a few for Christmas. They keep him entertaining for a long time. Emilia likes them too, but not as much as he does. They are super fun, even for adults! We love coloring them with the kids.

Djeco Collage Art Kit. Now these are Emilia’s favorites. She got one for Christmas and I’ve since bought every other one that is made because she loves them so much. Everyday she asks if she can her collages right when she wakes up and it’s so cute. She loves any sort of art and takes her time doing it. These are so fun.

T is for Tame Hair Styler. This is the hair styling spray I’ve used on Max for the last three years. I’ve had so many questions about it when I show it on instagram. It smells like cake, doesn’t get crunchy or crispy in the hair and sprays nicely. I love it.
